Prickle-Prickle, 3177DY Chaos 24 — CM7.0 Under Development
As you may have noticed, Chaos Matrix is slow to change. After eight years
of stagnation, the next version is finally on the horizon. Old content made relevant, and
new content forthcoming; at least, that's the promise.
The ChaMEO Library project is lurching off on its own way. (Assistant librarians
and apprentices wanted; watch this space for more information.) The
Invisible College is still a pipe dream, but it's looking more solid with
each pass. The plan is pretty simple, but simple ain't always easy.

Saturday, 2007 August 18 — Major Projects Behind the Scenes
As you may have noticed, Chaos Matrix has languored for several years now.
That's not because we're dead yet, though. I've been working with a small
group of incredibly talented fellow chaotes to develop the tentatively-titled
Chaos Matrix Educational Organization as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit educational
group. Our primary goal is the acquisition of land and the construction of
at least one physical library (initially on the West Coast) to house the
Chaos Matrix collection of occult books and media; this also gives us a way
to preserve our personal collections from scattering or destruction beyond
our deaths by donating them to the library in our wills. Once established,
others like yourself can make similar plans if you like the way we've set
it up (we'll have the details then.)
It's a little premature to say much about it yet, but our secondary goals
envelop a long-range plan to use the library as one of several stepping stones for
building a private occult college over the next fifty to seventy-five years.
Who says chaotes can't plan? At this point it looks feasible, but certainly
not easy.
We're still at least a year from going public with all the details (it's
quite the project), but if you've wondered why things seem slow here then
now you know where much of our energy is going. Hopefully once we get this
ironed out we'll have a dedicated editor with more time to spare the website
itself. We'll see you on the other side!
